talKHiyan ho gain wabasta har ek sham ke sath

hum kahan phans gae yaran-e-subuk-gam ke sath
uD chuki hain sitam-araon ki ninden aksar
aap suniye kabhi afsana ye aaram ke sath
is mein saqi ka bhi dar-parda ishaara to nahin
aaj kuchh rind bhi the waiz-e-badnam ke sath
ghair ki tarah mile ahl-e-haram ai 'zaidi'
mujh ko yak-go na aqidat jo thi asnam ke sath
