तंगी-ए-दिल का गिला क्या ये वो काफ़िर-दिल है
कि अगर तंग न होता तो परेशाँ होता

of heart's constriction why complain, this faithless heart surely
if would not be constricted then, would agitated be

बाद यक-उम्र-ए-वरा बार तो देता बारे
काश रिज़वाँ ही दर-ए-यार का दरबाँ होता
